For most events, The Score play two x 1 hour, or three x 45 minute sets. Over the years, we have found that this works best for most audiences and the band.

Guests at an evening party tend to enjoy eating, drinking and catching up with friends and family early in the evening and background music during this period normally works well, which we can provide via our laptop. We recommend that the live band is left until slightly later, then the party gets into full swing and your guests will hit the dance floor. However, we will be happy to tailor the set to your requirements; it is your event after all.

Ideally, The Score requires 90 minutes for set-up and sound check. We have a lot of equipment to bring in and set up, so will usually try and do this before your guests arrive, but it sometimes depends on the size and type of venue. However, rest assured that we will always do our best to accommodate any given situation and set up as quietly as we can! Once we're done, all the boxes are removed and we will have a nice neat party area ready for you.   

For performance space, The Score have played on both small and large stages and whilst there is no set size, we are a six-piece band and it does therefore help to have some space to move around. The minimum space is approximately 3.5m x 4m (12' x 15'), and the band will need a minimum of two mains power sockets.

The Score can also save you the additional cost of a DJ by providing music for your function - before, between and after our live sets. This can be done either from our own laptop of party tunes or we can play your own devices through our PA, if you have any particular favourite songs or playlists you would like to hear. This is all included for free within our standard set-up, however if your event finishes after midnight there is an additional cost for this.
